Hi Sandy I’d like to join you for the Heritage Walk on Thursday in Bolton town centre.
I’m wondering where is the start of the walk ? Where will the meeting place be?
    Thanks

What ability of walker do you need to be to do the Hall’ith Wood walk?
Is it cross country? Or on paths?

      Hi Anne.

Thank you very much for your enquiry. The heritage walks encourage the appreciation of our local area including parks and countryside so they are varied in terrain.

It may help if we give you some of the instructions that are give out when you book:-

The ground will vary from pavements, well-kept footpaths, not so well-kept footpaths, and grass. Depending on the weather these may be wet. Therefore, wear suitable footwear; sturdy walking boots are ideal.

The walk contains steps and slopes, so it is not suitable for wheelchairs or scooters.

We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate. You must take sole responsibility for your own medical conditions (if any) and you must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating.

      I hope that is helpful.

      Julia
